Eldor Shomurodov supports children's dreams

Every big event has its beginning. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Sometimes it seems simple, for example, playing with an old ball in the backyard. Some want to become teachers or doctors, while others dream of seeing themselves in large stadiums since childhood and representing Uzbekistan at the World Cup.
Eldor Shomurodov's story started in the same way. Today, Eldor Shomurodov helps children like himself.
He works with children at an academy located in Surxondaryo region, near Termiz. Here, children live, study, and take important steps every day to get closer to their dreams.
The TBC Bank team visited the academy and was inspired by the children's sincerity and determination. Therefore, they decided to support the children and work together on this path.
Children from various families train at the academy, and the family's income does not matter here. The main thing is whether the child is interested in football and strives towards a goal.
"Children study at the academy for free. The most important thing is the child's interest in football, ability, and striving towards a goal," says Sanjar Shomurodov, head of the Surxondaryo regional football federation.
Currently, 132 children are studying at the academy. Admissions are held every year in July and August.
Children are accepted from the age of 12. Here, children are taught that not only technique and speed but also character and willpower are important.
Psychologists also work with them. Victory or defeat can affect children differently, so they are always supported.
Additional training sessions are also scheduled. For example, Zayniddin Amadullaev is 12 years old and has been training at the academy for several years.
"I became interested in football because of my father. I have been training every day since I was seven, striving to improve myself," he says.
