The silence in Iranian football poses a threat to the Uzbekistan national team

The calmness in Iranian football fields may negatively affect the sports form of the "White Wolves" who are striving for the World Cup. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Currently, our national team's key players are active there. Jaloliddin Masharipov plays for the "Esteghlal" club, Oston Orunov and Igor Sergeev for "Persepolis," Odil Hamrobekov for "Sepahan," and Rustam Ashurmatov is playing for an Iranian club after "Rubin."
According to Diyor Imomkhodjaev, head of the Uzbekistan Professional Football League (PFL), the organization prioritizes the interests of the national team and is ready to provide any assistance. However, this requires the consent of international football organizations.
If FIFA grants the right to unilaterally terminate or suspend contracts of players in Iranian clubs, the PFL has expressed readiness to register them. Also, even though the transfer window is closed for the Uzbekistan Football Association, if permission is given to accept players coming from other clubs, the doors will be open.
This decision will not harm the competitive environment in the championship since the new season has just started in Uzbekistan. The main goal is to prevent our players from losing match practice and to maintain the strength of the national team ahead of the World Cup qualifiers.
How will events unfold? Will FIFA grant special privileges for legionnaires in Iran?
We will continue to monitor the situation. Which of our clubs' opportunities do you think would improve if stars like Oston Orunov or Jaloliddin Masharipov return to the Super League?
