FIFA will not take away the 2026 championship from the USA

According to Vyacheslav Koloskov, the honorary president of the RFS, the likelihood of FIFA taking away the 2026 football World Cup from the USA is very low. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by euro-football.ru. According to Koloskov, theoretically such a decision could be made, but in practice FIFA would not dare to confront America.

He emphasized that there are double standards in this situation, reports "Match TV". It is worth noting that the 2026 World Cup will be held in three North American countries.

The tournament will be hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The current world champion is the Argentina national team, led by Lionel Scaloni, who defeated the France national team in the 2022 World Cup final.

This situation makes the championship even more interesting. It is clear that this tournament will be a major event for football fans.
