In the second leg of the Spanish Cup semifinal, Barcelona defeated Atletico 3-0 at home. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
However, this victory was not enough for the Catalans to advance to the final. Based on the aggregate score of both matches, the Madrid team advanced to the final with a 4-3 lead.
In the first half of the game, Barcelona applied strong pressure on their opponent. Mark Bernal opened the scoring in the 29th minute.
In the added time of the first half, Rafinha scored a penalty, further increasing the home team's advantage. In the second half, in the 72nd minute, Bernal scored again, bringing the score to 3-0.
Barcelona maintained the initiative on their home ground and launched many attacks. However, Atletico's goalkeeper Juan Musso made several important saves to keep his team in the game.
Thus, the Madrid team preserved their aggregate lead and secured the ticket to the final. This match gave the spectators mixed emotions.
On one hand, Barcelona showed strong determination and beautiful play, while on the other hand, Atletico calmly fulfilled their task. Although Barcelona was the winner on the field, the true winner of the semifinal and the first finalist was Atletico.
