Uzbekistani judokas succeeded at the Tashkent Grand Slam

The International Judo Federation has announced the updated world rankings of athletes based on the results of the "OTP Group Tashkent Grand Slam 2026" competition. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At this prestigious tournament held in Tashkent, Uzbekistani judokas significantly improved their performance. In particular, Shukurjon Aminova achieved great success by winning the "Grand Slam" tournament championship for the first time in her career.
She earned 1000 ranking points and rose from 15th to 8th place. Additionally, Shahram Ahadov, Alisher Yusupov, Umar Bozorov, Murodjon Yo'ldoshev, Ernazar Sarsenbayev, Muzaffarbek To'raboyev, Laziza Haydarova, Ulbusin Hakimova, So'g'diyona Rafkatova, Umida Nig'matova, and Fotima Kuramboyeva also advanced in their weight categories, strengthening their positions among the top judokas.
According to the press service of the Uzbekistan Judo Federation, this success creates an important foundation for our athletes to achieve even higher results in upcoming international competitions. Currently, our judokas continue their preparation for the next prestigious tournaments.
