Fabio Cannavaro followed Uzbek football players in Turkey

The head coach of the Uzbekistan national team, Fabio Cannavaro, is currently in Turkey. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The Italian specialist watched the match between "Istanbul Basaksehir" and "Goztepe" of the 25th round of the Turkish Super League live at the stadium. This game also attracted special interest for Uzbek fans, as two players of the Uzbekistan national team - Eldor Shomurodov and Abbos Fayzullaev - played in the starting lineup of "Basaksehir".

Cannavaro had the opportunity to observe their performance live, evaluating their form, readiness, and role on the field. Fabio Cannavaro's trip to Turkey was not limited to just watching the football match.

It is known that he also held meetings with club president Goksel Gumusdag, Mustafa Eryogut, Turkish national team head coach Vincenzo Montella, and Selcuk Sahin. According to the statement released by the Istanbul club, the meetings took place in a very warm and sincere atmosphere.

Cannavaro's visit to Istanbul served two purposes: firstly, to assess our national team's legionnaires on site; secondly, to strengthen ties with Turkish football and coaching circles.
