Uzbekistan's Young Boxers Won the Futures Cup Tournament in Bangkok

The prestigious international Futures Cup tournament for youth boxing, currently being held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is continuing with great attention. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In this major sports competition, promising boxers from various parts of the world are testing their strength. What draws attention is that two national teams are simultaneously representing Uzbekistan's honor on this international stage.
Our young athletes have come to this tournament with clear plans to enrich their international experience and seriously prepare for major competitions in the future. On the second day of the competition, exciting fights involving four talented representatives of the Uzbekistan national team took place.
The first bout was held among girls in the 75-kilogram weight category, where our compatriot Farzuna Roziyeva faced a strong Indian opponent, Longjam Radhaman. Despite our representative using all her skills in a tense and uncompromising fight, in the end, she lost the opportunity to a more experienced rival.
Nevertheless, this fight undoubtedly served as an important experience school for our young athlete towards future victories. The fights among the boys brought real joy to the fans.
In particular, Bekzod Ismoiljonov, who entered the ring in the 55-kilogram weight category, had an excellent fight against Senegalese boxer Sall Mouhamed. Our compatriot took the initiative from the first round and began delivering powerful blows to his opponent.
His dominance became evident in the second round, and Bekzod defeated his opponent by technical knockout, securing a place in the next stage. Another confident victory was achieved by Bobomurod Boymirzayev, representing our country in the 60-kilogram weight category.
He competed against Sun Jao Ting from Chinese Taipei. During the fight, Bobomurod demonstrated the bright traditions of the Uzbek boxing school and by the third round managed to completely break his opponent's resistance.
The referees decided to stop the fight early, and our compatriot was declared the winner by technical knockout. The last fight of the day took place in the 65-kilogram weight category, where Ibrohim Shokirjonov faced the Chinese boxer Abudujieli Kadierding.
This confrontation lasted the full three rounds. Throughout the fight, Ibrohim demonstrated his technical and tactical superiority, leaving no chance to his opponent.
In the end, the referees unanimously scored the victory for the Uzbek boxer with a score of five to zero. Our youth's participation in the tournament is continuing successfully, and many more exciting fights await us ahead.
