Uzbek boxers achieved victory in Bangkok

The international Futures Cup tournament for youth boxing is in full swing in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Two national teams from Uzbekistan are participating in this prestigious competition, and our compatriots are attracting the attention of fans with their worthy performances in the ring. Yesterday, a total of five of our compatriots fought, and most of them brought us joy.
The first match of the tournament program took place in the fifty-one kilogram weight category. Nazokat Mardonova faced Kazakhstan's representative Ayim Tankibayeva in the ring.
Our compatriot acted dominantly during the fight, giving her opponent almost no chance, and confidently won with a score of five to zero. This result once again demonstrated that representatives of the Uzbek boxing school came to the tournament with serious preparation.
In the fifty-four kilogram weight category match, Sabina Chakomanova fought against North Korea's representative Jon Un Gyong. Unfortunately, luck was not on our compatriot's side in this fight.
In a tough and intense clash, Sabina lost with a score of one to five and ended her participation in the tournament. Nevertheless, her determination and fighting spirit until the end must be acknowledged.
One of the brightest results for the Uzbekistan delegation was associated with the name Abdulg'ani Yorqinjonov. He also won his second fight in the tournament.
This time, Libyan Omar Abdulwahhab was his opponent in the fifty-kilogram weight category. However, our compatriot did not prolong the fight and clearly demonstrated his superiority by technically knocking out his opponent in the very first round.
This victory shows that Yorqinjonov's claim in the tournament is very serious. The match in the forty-eight kilogram weight category also ended pleasantly for the fans.
Maftuna Musurmonova fought against Kazakhstan's Assilay Murat. Our compatriot outperformed her opponent and secured a ticket to the next stage.
Confidence, enthusiasm, and thirst for victory were clearly visible in her actions. Another joyful result from yesterday's program was recorded in the fifty-ten kilogram weight category.
Rushanabonu Isoyeva fought against New Zealand's Brooke Miller. Our compatriot left no chance for her opponent in this fight as well and won with an absolute superiority of five to zero.
This result is not only important for our team but also another vivid example demonstrating the potential of the Uzbek boxing school on the international stage. Thus, out of the five representatives who entered the ring yesterday, four won and advanced to the next stage.
Only one of our athletes said goodbye to the tournament. This means that the overall performance of our teams is not bad; on the contrary, it is going quite confidently and effectively.
This news presented by the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation once again filled the hearts of fans with a sense of pride. Source: One.uz
