Müller has resigned from his position at Bayern Munich.

Munich Mayor Dieter Reiter has officially resigned from his positions on the Supervisory and Management Advisory Boards of the "Bayern Munich" football club. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This significant decision was made following the issue of undisclosed income, which sparked widespread public discontent. According to reports, the politician considered maintaining the trust of the city's population as his primary duty.
Despite being a devoted fan of the famous club throughout his life, he emphasized that transparency and openness must take precedence over his personal interests. The serious issue began when it was revealed that he had not fully informed the city council about his income from the club since taking office in 2021.
Opposition members sharply criticized this situation and demanded a clear report on his activities at the club and financial agreements. As a result, Reiter announced that he had earned a total of 90,000 euros while serving at the club and confirmed that taxes had been fully paid on this amount.
He has now promised to donate the entire sum received to various social projects in the city. The lack of transparency also had a serious impact on the mayor's political future.
In the first round of elections held last Sunday, Reiter received only 35.6 percent of the vote. This figure is significantly lower than his previous results, indicating a decline in public trust in him.
Currently, he is seriously preparing for the second round of elections against Dominik Krause, which will take place in the coming weeks. These events clearly demonstrated the changes occurring in city governance and the power of public opinion.
