Barcelona president accused agent of stabbing him from behind

Joan Laporta, the president of FC Barcelona, spoke in recent interviews with media outlets about the unexpected transfer of the team's young talented player Dro Fernandes to Paris Saint-Germain. Zamin.uz reported on this matter.
The club leader did not view this incident as a simple transfer but rather evaluated it as a heinous act akin to being stabbed in the back. According to Laporta, the main culprit behind this was the player's agent, Ivan de la Peña.
The president criticized the agent for secretly negotiating with a rival team while maintaining open communication and earning the trust of the club's management. He emphasized that the club had confidence in continuing its partnership with the agent, yet he betrayed this trust shamefully and sold the player for his own benefit.
The team's head coach, Hansi Flick, was also deeply upset by this incident, as he considered Dro Fernandes a bright star of the future and had been granting him opportunities to play in the main squad. Although the coach attempted to recruit experienced players to replace the young footballer, he had pinned great hopes on his maturity level.
Interestingly, Laporta is not dissatisfied with Paris Saint-Germain club or its leadership that bought the player. All blame has been placed solely on the agent's vile maneuvers and ambiguous actions.
Therefore, instead of making a unilateral decision, the club management is taking additional measures to prevent such situations from recurring in the future. The club, which felt a sense of orphanhood without him, is now striving to further strengthen its ranks.
Laporta is particularly trying to protect young mature players like Lamine Yamal and create stable conditions for them. This incident has caused a major stir among football fans, leading to various ideas and discussions.
However, while promising to take swift and decisive measures, the club management is instilling hope for future successes for the team. The main lesson learned from this incident once again proved how crucial trust and clear agreements are in the world of football.
