Guardiola Emphasized That the Premier League Is Even Harder Than the Champions League

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola once again emphasized that the English Premier League has become the most difficult and serious tournament in world football today. Zamin.uz reported this.
According to the Spanish specialist, the prestige and importance of this competition are even greater than those of the UEFA Champions League. Although his team has maintained stability in domestic battles, the coach warns that the internal championship demands a level of intensity and consistency unmatched by any other competition.
During a press conference ahead of the upcoming crucial match against West Ham, Guardiola recalled that last season was particularly tough. He emphasized that while the squad continues to fight for the title, even the smallest mistake cannot be afforded.
The coach admitted that losing a single point at this decisive stage of the season could ruin their hopes of securing another trophy. Therefore, he stated that attention must be paid to the very fine margins that determine victory and defeat in England's top flight.
Over the past nine seasons, Manchester City has achieved remarkable success, winning six Premier League titles. However, competition here remains extremely fierce and volatile.
In one of the previous seasons, the club finished third, thirteen points behind Liverpool. This situation serves as a reminder that even the strongest teams can sometimes face failure.
As the current race heats up, Guardiola continues to demand full focus and seriousness from his players to maintain competitiveness in this tournament, which he considers the ultimate test of football skill. Source: One.uz
