Liverpool lost without their main strikers

The head coach of the “Liverpool” team, Arne Slot, emphasized that the absence of main attackers negatively affected the team in the 31st round of the Premier League, where they lost 2:1 to “Brighton”. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Speaking after the match, Slot admitted that the first half was balanced, but after the break, the team lost control. According to Slot, the absence of two main attackers was a big blow for “Liverpool”.
He said that Isak not being on the field and Ekitike getting injured and leaving the game in the early minutes limited the team's attacking opportunities. Nevertheless, the coach emphasized that his players performed well in the first half and remained competitive in a balanced match.
The second half was completely different, says Slot. After the break, the “Brighton” team had much more dominance and showed their game well.
The “Liverpool” coach also admitted that the team lost many points after European competitions and noted that he had spoken about this issue several times before. At the same time, Slot did not only focus on his team's shortcomings but praised “Brighton” for their good performance.
In his interview with TNT Sports, despite being dissatisfied with the result, it can be seen that he acknowledges the hosts had a greater impact at crucial moments. Source: One.uz
