Czech Republic sent Ireland home and advanced to the final

The semi-final matches of the qualifying play-off stage have concluded, and several national teams have secured a chance to reach the final. In this stage, the Czech Republic national team hosted a match against the Ireland national team on their home ground.
During regular time, the hosts delivered an outstanding performance, and the match ended in a 2:2 draw. In the early minutes of the game, Irish footballer Perrott scored from a penalty in the 19th minute.
In the 23rd minute, an own goal occurred in front of the Czech Republic's goal, making the score 0:2. The Czech team then reduced the deficit in the 27th minute thanks to a penalty goal by Šik.
Later, in the 86th minute, following Krejčí's goal, the hosts equalized and achieved a crucial comeback. The match extended to a penalty shootout.
In the shootout, the Czech team won with a score of 4:3. This result secured their place in the final and sparked great joy and excitement among fans.
Now, the Czech Republic national team will face Denmark in the play-off final on their home ground on March 31. In this match, both teams will give their all to secure a spot in the World Cup.
