Arne Slot spoke about unity and trust in the Liverpool team
Liverpool Football Club head coach Arne Slot shared his thoughts on the atmosphere around the team and the support received during a press conference held ahead of the English Premier League match against Fulham. Zamin.uz reported this.
The coach noted that mutual trust and unity within the club remain at an all-time high. In particular, faith in the team has not wavered even after an unexpected defeat in the Champions League.
As a reminder, the Merseysiders recently missed their opportunity in a match against Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-final stage of the prestigious tournament. Arne Slot specifically emphasized that the support provided by the club management during such difficult times is the most important factor.
According to him, not only the club owners but also sporting directors Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards have been supporting the coaching staff and players in every possible way. This unity creates a solid foundation for the team to achieve positive results in future matches.
In his speech, the coach also paused to mention the role of the fans. He noted that even after major defeats, the singing in the stands did not stop, and the supporters are providing great spiritual strength to the team.
Specifically, even after a heavy defeat against Manchester City, the fans supported the team and expressed their loyalty. According to BBC, Slot stated that he fully understands the situation and feels strong support from all sides.
Currently, the main task for the team is to restore psychological stability and prepare maximally for the upcoming matches. The coach's statement clearly shows that there is still a healthy atmosphere around Liverpool and a high drive toward a single goal.
The club is now focusing all its attention on success in the domestic championship.
