Manchester City achieved a confident victory over Chelsea in London

In the central match of the thirty-second round of the English Premier League held in London, Manchester City secured an important victory. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The visitors, known as the Citizens, defeated Chelsea 3-0, significantly increasing their chances in the championship race. Following this result, head coach Pep Guardiola shared his analytical thoughts on the game.
The specialist noted that the team played much more meaningfully in the second half, while the planned tactical instructions were not fully implemented in the first half. The coach paid particular attention to attacks carried out through the wings.
According to him, although more dangerous situations were created on the left wing, the effectiveness on the right wing was lower than expected. Nevertheless, it was acknowledged that Jeremy Doku is a high-level attacker on the right wing as well.
According to One.uz, Guardiola also commented on the actions of young midfielder Ryan Sherk. The coach noted that in some situations, the player dropped back too far and played the ball near his own goalkeeper.
In his opinion, such a talented player should be more useful in the final third of the attack, specifically in front of the opponent's goal. Considering the player's youth and this being his first season in the English championship, it was emphasized that he has high growth potential.
The absence of participation in the Champions League is forcing the team to focus more on the domestic championship. Facing strong opponents in the last three matches has increased the team's level of preparation.
Guardiola added that although an ideal game was not displayed, the team acted confidently and created the necessary opportunities. At the same time, Manchester City, currently in second place with sixty-four points, trails leaders Arsenal by six points; however, games in hand allow the team to continue the fight for the championship.
The decisive stage of the season is now beginning.
