Real Madrid is out of the Champions League and Arbeloa is disappointed

Real Madrid assistant coach Alvaro Arbeloa spoke with press representatives after the Champions League return leg against Bayern Munich. Zamin.uz reported on this.
The match ended three-zero, four (aggregate), and the Madrid team was forced to exit the tournament. The coach noted that the players demonstrated a very strong and meaningful performance on the field.
While Arbeloa stated he was satisfied with the effort shown by the athletes, he did not hide that the final result was painful for the team. He expressed his regret not only to the players but also to all the fans who came to the stadium and watched the game via screens.
This season, Real Madrid aimed to achieve its sixteenth victory in the European arena, but this dream did not come true. According to the coach, this situation was a serious blow to the club.
Nevertheless, he specifically noted that the team fought until the end for its values and the club emblem. Speaking about having opportunities to score during the game, Arbeloa said that changes to the lineup were planned because some players were feeling fatigue.
However, he emphasized that an unexpected turn in the game changed all plans. Now, the team's focus will shift to the domestic championship.
The coach stated that the struggle in La Liga would not be easy and that it is necessary to act with maximum strength until the end of the season. Although Real Madrid has left the European Cup competition, the team is not spiritually broken and will continue to fight for victories.
