The head coach of the Saudi Arabia national team has been dismissed

The Saudi Arabia national team has suffered a series of consecutive defeats in its recent friendly matches. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The team lost one-two to Serbia, zero-four to Egypt, and zero-two to Algeria. These results are causing great concern among football fans and sports experts.
Analysis of the games shows that the balance between the attack and defense lines in the national team has been disrupted. In particular, tactical errors on the field and instability in the game have negatively affected the team's overall results.
For this reason, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation decided to dismiss French specialist Hervé Renard from his position. Hervé Renard had been reappointed to the team at the end of October 2024.
He previously managed this national team from 2019 to 2023, and under his leadership, Saudi Arabia succeeded in qualifying for the final stage of the 2022 World Cup. The specialist has extensive coaching experience.
During his career, he has managed the national teams of Ghana, Zambia, Angola, Ivory Coast, and Morocco. In particular, he won the Africa Cup of Nations with Zambia in 2012 and with the Ivory Coast national team in 2015.
In the future, the Saudi Arabia national team will participate in Group H as part of the 2026 World Cup. At this stage, they are expected to compete against the national teams of Spain, Cape Verde, and Uruguay.
The current situation poses serious challenges for the national team. Although there is still time before the World Cup, the demands and pressure from fans are increasing day by day.
Now, under the leadership of a new head coach, the team must quickly restore its form and build a strong squad. Source: One.uz
