The competitions on the second day of the tournament have concluded, and this day was even more successful for the Uzbekistan national team. Our athletes managed to further enrich the medal tally with their worthy results on the tatami.
According to the results of the second day, representatives of our country won one silver and one bronze medal. In particular, the performance of Shirinjon Yo'ldosheva, who competed in the 70 kilogram weight category, deserves special attention.
Despite an injury to her hand, the athlete fought until the end in the final match and succeeded in winning the silver medal. This result once again proved her strong will and resilience.
Xurshida Razzoqberdiyeva also put up a worthy fight in the same weight category. Although she missed the opportunity against Shirinjon Yo'ldosheva in the semi-finals, she prevailed over the representative of Chinese Taipei in the match for the bronze medal and took third place.
At the end of two days of competition, the Uzbekistan national team earned three silver and two bronze medals in total. Silver medals were won by Laziza Haydarova, Sita Kadambayeva, and Shirinjon Yo'ldosheva.
