Six Uzbek athletes will compete for medals at the Asian Championship

The qualifying stages of the competition have concluded, and the most important and decisive day is approaching. Now, athletes will demonstrate their skills in the battles for the final and bronze medals.
The Uzbekistan national team achieved very high results in these stages. Thanks to the determination and strength shown by the national team representatives, a total of six athletes secured spots in the medal rounds.
The team's greatest success is that one representative has reached the final for the gold medal, while the other five athletes will step onto the tatami for bronze medals. In the final match, Alisher Yusupov, in the over 100 kg weight category, will face Li Seon Gyob from South Korea.
This encounter is expected to be one of the most exciting and anticipated finals of the championship. Interesting pairings have also formed for the bronze medal battles.
In the up to 78 kg weight category, a match will take place between Marjona Ko'chimova and Barchinoy Qodirova. In the up to 100 kg category, Ernazar Sarsenbayev will compete against Jahongir Majidov from Tajikistan.
Additionally, in the over 78 kg weight category, Umida Nig'matova will face Aida Toishebekova from Kazakhstan, and in the over 100 kg category, Muzaffarbek To'raboyev will compete against Odhu Tsetsensengel from Mongolia. These results prove that the Uzbek judo school is becoming increasingly stronger on the international stage.
