Young Ronaldo may be called up to Al Nassr's main squad
Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr club is considering the possibility of bringing Cristiano Ronaldo's son, junior Cristiano, into the main squad starting from next season. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The sixteen-year-old footballer currently plays for the Portugal youth national team, and his performance indicators are being constantly monitored by club specialists. The club management is trying to choose the most optimal path for the young talent's development.
If he joins the main team, it could cause a great sensation in the football world and mark the beginning of new successes for the Ronaldo family. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo himself remains a key force for Al Nassr.
The forty-one-year-old experienced striker participated in 25 matches this season, scoring 24 goals and providing 2 assists. His high efficiency is having a positive impact on the team's results.
Currently, Al Nassr is leading the championship race. The club, occupying first place in the tournament table, is eight points ahead of its closest rival, Al Hilal.
If all plans are realized, we may see father and son in one team in the near future. Such an event would become a phenomenon that sparks great interest not only for the club but for football fans worldwide.
