He was fully transferred from Italy's Roma club to Turkey's Istanbul Başakşehir team. Previously, the player had been sent to this Turkish club on a loan basis.
The contract had also included a clause for a future full purchase. Today, that clause has been implemented.
According to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, Istanbul Başakşehir purchased Shomurodov for 2.8 million euros. The club signed a long-term contract with the Uzbek striker.
Under the new agreement, Shomurodov will play for Istanbul Başakşehir until the summer of 2029. Additionally, Roma retained the right to receive 10% of any future transfer fee for the player.
