Manchester City Plans to Sign Ibrahim Maza

English club Manchester City plans to radically overhaul and strengthen its midfield during the next summer transfer window. According to Zamin.uz, club officials have decided to once again focus their serious attention on Ibrahim Maza, a member of Bayer Leverkusen.
The talented footballer of Algerian descent was born and raised in Germany and was trained according to the traditions of the German football school. The skilled twenty-year-old midfielder first caught the eye of the English club's scouts last summer.
However, at that time, Bayer's management managed to outpace all rivals and keep the player in their ranks. While the transfer value was estimated at around twelve million euros back then, today this figure has increased several times over.
Currently, Manchester City management has intensified efforts to add the talented player to their squad. Nevertheless, the Leverkusen club is not willing to let go of its young star easily.
Representatives of the German club are complicating the future negotiation process by demanding at least seventy million euros for the player. The fact that a thirty-five million euro offer from Atletico Madrid was previously rejected highlights how valuable Maza is to the club.
Ibrahim Maza recorded high results in his debut season. He appeared in a total of thirty-eight matches, scoring five goals and providing six assists.
One of the brightest moments of his career occurred in a Champions League match against Manchester City, where Maza provided the assist that led to his team's victory. According to One.uz, the player himself noted that this match holds a special place in his life and served as an inspiration for his future goals.
At present, Manchester City is not limiting itself to Maza and is monitoring several other candidates, including Sandro Tonali, Kenneth Eichhorn, Elliot Anderson, and Mateus Fernandes. Nonetheless, Ibrahim Maza remains the primary target for the team's coaching staff.
Whether this transfer takes place next summer will largely depend on the financial agreement between the clubs.
