Arne Slot speaks on the condition of team striker Alexander Isak

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has shared his thoughts on the current condition and form of Alexander Isak, the club's record signing. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The 26-year-old Swedish striker, who transferred from Newcastle last August for £125 million, has struggled to live up to expectations in his debut season on Merseyside due to serious injuries. According to Goal.com, the player, who was sidelined for four months with a broken leg, has managed to score only three goals this season.
Slot emphasized that Isak has not yet reached his peak potential and is currently undergoing a physical recovery process after a long hiatus. According to the manager, the striker needs at least six weeks of full training to showcase his true skills.
He also added that the player's participation in international tournaments could greatly assist him in regaining his match rhythm. Additionally, the manager addressed questions regarding a slight dip in the efficiency of star player Mohamed Salah.
Salah has scored seven goals in the English Premier League so far this season. Slot stated that while the strikers' scoring rates have decreased slightly compared to last year's results, this is a temporary situation that will soon improve.
This coming Saturday, Liverpool will host Crystal Palace. Ahead of the match, the team faces a severe selection crisis, with up to eleven players potentially unavailable.
Due to injuries to primary goalkeepers Alisson Becker and Giorgi Mamardashvili, third-choice keeper Freddie Woodman is expected to make his debut in the starting lineup. Alexander Isak will be included in the matchday squad, though he is not yet ready to play the full 90 minutes.
