Miguel Nadal Warns Barcelona Over Erling Haaland Transfer

Miguel Nadal, one of Barcelona's legendary defenders, has warned the Catalan club's management that their plans regarding the transfer of Erling Haaland may be difficult to realize. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Although club president Joan Laporta envisions the Norwegian star as the primary symbol of the renovated Camp Nou and the leader of the team's new era, the economic aspects of the deal present significant hurdles. According to Goal.com, the club's current financial situation may not allow for such a massive acquisition.
Nadal emphasized that Erling Haaland is currently considered the most dangerous and powerful striker in world football. However, his transfer fee and required annual salary are well above the club's current budget.
Even though the team's performance has significantly improved under Hans-Dieter Flick, the risk remains that securing the record-breaking funds required for the 25-year-old player could become an almost impossible task for Barcelona. At the same time, club officials are considering Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah as an alternative option.
However, Miguel Nadal advised against taking such a risk, noting that the Egyptian player is over thirty-three years old. According to him, while Salah still plays at a high level and could strengthen any team, the Catalans should focus more on young and long-term prospective projects at this stage.
As the summer transfer window approaches, Joan Laporta and the club management have not given up hope for unexpected positive developments regarding Haaland. Unless the team's commercial revenues increase sharply or several key players are sold for large sums, the Norwegian striker's departure from the English league remains in doubt.
For Barcelona, maintaining economic stability remains the top priority in the current situation.
