Vincent Kompany commented on the young Bayern midfielder's debut

Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany spoke about the unexpected debut of 18-year-old Bara Sapoko Ndiaye ahead of the German championship match against Mainz. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The young midfielder started the game in the center of the pitch alongside Aleksandar Pavlovic in the starting lineup. The team's coach particularly noted that such matches are not easy for young footballers and represent a significant test for them.
According to Goal.com, Kompany demanded that his players demonstrate a high level of experience and maturity in the away match against an opponent in the lower part of the league table. According to the coach, Ndiaye earned this opportunity through his tireless work in training.
On that day, one of the team's main leaders, Joshua Kimmich, was given a rest, while Jamal Musiala was left on the bench, with Leon Goretzka taking his place. Since the Munich side defeated Stuttgart in the previous round and secured the championship title ahead of schedule, the coaching staff decided to experiment with the lineup.
Of Senegalese origin, central midfielder Ndiaye is a graduate of Gambinos Stars club, which is considered Bayern's African partner. He was on trial with the team last summer and managed to attract Vincent Kompany's attention with his talent.
Currently, the young footballer is playing on loan, but the German giants plan to fully buy out his rights during the summer transfer window. Before this, Ndiaye had come on as a substitute in German championship matches against St. Pauli and Stuttgart.
In addition, he was included in the squad for the important German Cup semi-final match against Bayer. In the match against Mainz, Kompany also called up three other academy graduates — Deniz Ofli, Raphael Pavlich and Bastian Assomo — to the bench.
This indicates the club's growing confidence in young talents.
