Uzbek pilgrims prayed for victory for the Uzbekistan national team on Arafat mountain! (video)
Currently, along with millions of Muslims around the world, Uzbek pilgrims are performing the sacred Hajj rituals. Today, our compatriots, led by the chairman of the Muslim Board, Mufti Nuriddin Khaliqnazarov, sincerely prayed for our national football team to win an important match during their pilgrimage on Arafat mountain.

Mufti Nuriddin Khaliqnazarov emphasized:

“This is more than just a football match. Through this game, the honor of our homeland and the pride of our nation will be elevated. Our national team is hoping for prayers from us, from our entire people. May Allah strengthen the steps of our players, grant them strength and victory. We wholeheartedly support them and wish them success. May Allah protect them from all evils, disasters, and envious eyes. May He help them spread the name of our homeland throughout the world.”

Thus, on the most sacred day for the Muslim world, our Uzbek pilgrims are providing sincere support and prayers for our national team. This will undoubtedly serve as additional strength for our players' morale and motivation.

It is worth noting that the Uzbekistan national football team is currently at a crucial stage in qualifying for the World Cup. Today, on June 5, our national team will play a decisive match against the UAE team in Abu Dhabi. If our team wins or draws in this match, they will secure a direct ticket to the World Cup to be held in 2026 in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

For our team, led by Timur Kapadze, this game is not only of historical significance but also tied to the hopes of our entire nation. The match will kick off at 21:00 Tashkent time and will be broadcast live to fans on "Football TV" and "Sport TV" channels.

Before the game, all our compatriots are expressing great confidence in our national team and supporting them with prayers. May these prayers be answered, and may our team secure the coveted World Cup qualification!
