Klopp and Salah's disagreements turned into friendship

Liverpool's former head coach Jurgen Klopp and Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah's relationship has long been a focal point in the media. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Specifically, some disagreements during Klopp's final season at Merseyside led to various rumors. However, Klopp recently put all doubts to rest in an interview.
This is reported by Goal.com. According to ESPN, Klopp, who currently serves as the head of global football at Red Bull, confirmed that his relationship with Mohamed Salah is at the highest level.
According to him, any tensions that remained between the coach and the player have now turned into sincere friendship. The most heated incident between Klopp and Salah occurred in April 2024 during the match against West Ham at London Stadium, when the Egyptian star, warming up on the bench, got into a heated exchange with the coach.
This situation led many to believe their relationship had completely broken down.
Klopp said: "We are friends now. I have always wanted to be friends with my players, even if it's not always possible during work.
As a coach, sometimes you have to make decisions they don't like. But the most important thing is that all of that is in the past.
The strongest thing in life is good memories, and they rise above any disagreement." Klopp placed Mohamed Salah in the same category as legendary footballers like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, emphasizing that Salah's consistency and professionalism over the years have made him one of the best players in the world.
Although it's impossible to play perfectly every single game, Salah always strives to take the team to a new level. Klopp said: "He is not just a role model for the Arab world, but possibly for the entire football world.
In Egypt, he is so famous that I can't go there on vacation, because Muhammad has made me very famous there too. We will never forget his hard work for Liverpool, his scored goals, and his contribution in finals.
We simply witnessed greatness."
