"Manchester City" stars go on a three-day break

Manchester City suffered a 1-2 defeat at Aston Villa in the final matchday of the English Premier League. One.uz reports.
This was the team's first loss of the season. Taking into account the tight schedule and player fatigue, head coach Enzo Maresca officially granted a three-day break to five key players from the starting lineup.
Players on break According to City Xtra, Erling Haaland, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Ruben Dias, Elliot Anderson, and Josko Gvardiol were given the opportunity to rest. Mareska explained that the aim of this decision was to fully restore energy and prepare for upcoming crucial matches.
He emphasized that these players would return to the pitch in full strength. These changes provide an opportunity for young, less-experienced squad players to showcase their abilities.
Cup match against Brighton Manchester City will host Brighton at home on the night of October 28-29 (00:30 Tashkent time) in the fourth round of the English League Cup. The absence of Donnarumma, Dias, and Gvardiol means that Jeremie Froury will be entrusted with the goal, while the defensive line will feature Abdulkodir Khusanov, Rico Lewis, and Nico O'Reilly.
In attack, 17-year-old Floyd Samba, who scored two goals against Norwich in the previous round, is expected to replace Haaland. In midfield, Mateo Kovacic and Ayoub Bouaddi may play instead of Anderson.
