Football coach Alexander Grigoryan commented on the chances of Kazan's Rubin team in the next season of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, to achieve high results, the team needs to strengthen in every line. If the team aims for 7th-8th places, the existing resources will be sufficient for that. Last season, Kazan's Rubin team finished the competition in seventh place.
The team, led by Rashid Rahimov, accumulated 45 points. For the first time in the history of the Russian championship, the "Krasnodar" team claimed the championship title.
The second place was taken by St. Petersburg's Zenit team, and the top three was completed by the Central Sports Club of Moscow, namely CSKA. Grigoryan emphasized that Rubin can be a contender for high positions if the team enhances its strength. If there are improvements in every position, they are capable of fulfilling high-level tasks.
At the same time, the current resources are considered sufficient for 7th-8th places. This creates a solid foundation for the team to be stable and competitive.
The results of the past season demonstrate the team's potential and serve as a foundation for achieving even higher results in the future.
