Portuguese specialist Diogu Payva is leaving the coaching staff of Dutch coach Arne Slot at England's "Liverpool" club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In his social media post, he wrote, "The Liverpool family, this club was not just a workplace for me, but a real home." It is worth noting that the 39-year-old coach joined Liverpool last September.
Prior to that, he worked at the "Porto" academy. Last season, under Slot's leadership, Liverpool won the English Premier League championship.
It has also been reported that the club has extended the contract with the goalkeeper. Payva's departure indicates changes in the coaching staff, but the club and his position within the team are consistently highly regarded.
Liverpool is entering the new season with new plans, building on previous successes.
