Montella extended the contract with the Turkish national team

Vincenzo Montella has extended his contract with the Turkish Football Federation. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The 51-year-old Italian coach will continue his work as the head coach of the Turkish national team in the coming years. This was officially announced.

Previously, it was reported that Montella's new labor contract is intended to last until the end of the Euro 2028 Championship. The previous contract was scheduled to end next summer, after the World Championship.

Vincenzo Montella was appointed as the head coach of the Turkish national team in September 2023. Since then, the team has played 23 matches, winning 12 times, recording 4 draws, and losing 7 times.

In the autumn season, the Turkish national team will begin participating in the qualifying rounds for the 2026 World Championship. This new contract and decision are expected to serve the team's future successes.
