Putin Asked Entrepreneurs for Additional Contributions to Finance the War

Russian President Vladimir Putin presented new proposals regarding the financing of ongoing military operations against Ukraine during a closed-door meeting with representatives of major businesses in the country. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to The Bell, citing its sources, the head of state asked entrepreneurs to make voluntary contributions to attract additional funds for the budget. This discussion took place within the framework of the Congress of the Union of Russian Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, where plans to continue the war and advance the army to the administrative borders of the Donetsk region were discussed.
Sources emphasize that Vladimir Putin delivered his speech in a sharp and determined tone, with the main idea being to continue combat operations to the end. The main author of this initiative is Igor Sechin, who stressed the need to support the state by actively involving business resources during difficult times.
One of the fundraising methods considered was the issuance of military federal loan bonds. Some major entrepreneurs immediately accepted this proposal.
For example, the famous businessman Suleiman Kerimov announced his readiness to allocate 100 billion rubles to the budget. Along with him, several other prominent entrepreneurs approved the head of state's initiative.
According to Uzbek experts and observers, such steps could further strengthen financial cooperation between the state and the private sector. However, it remains unclear how this process will affect the economy and how favorable it will be for the business environment in the future.
In the coming period, the results of this issue and its specific impact on private enterprises will become clearly visible.
