The general director of Moscow "Spartak" team, Oleg Malyishev, answered questions about the team's objectives for the new season of the Russian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the main goal of the "Spartak" team is to win the championship. In an interview with journalist Dmitriy Yegorov, Malyishev emphasized that only victory is important for the team. Last season, "Spartak" secured fourth place in the Russian championship standings.
Under the leadership of head coach Deyan Stankovich, the team collected 57 points in 30 matches, just two points shy of the top three. This demonstrates the team's strong competitiveness. Last season, the championship was won by the "Krasnodar" team, marking their first such achievement in the club's history.
The second place was taken by the "Zenit" team, and the top three was completed by CSKA. In the new season, "Spartak" is preparing to make even stronger efforts to achieve its goals.
The main task of the team is to become the winner of the Russian Premier League.
