The commentator of the "Match TV" channel, Dmitriy Shnyakin, announced that the Moscow "Spartak" club considered the transfer option of striker Artyom Dzyuba from the Tolyatti team "Akron". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He stated that the striker was on an expanded list of candidates for strengthening the team. Shnyakin wrote on his Telegram channel that Artyom Dzyuba was also on the long list for the central striker position of "Spartak".
He emphasized that this could be an important event for the club in terms of image, but it did not happen. Ultimately, the "red-whites" management settled on the candidate Anton Zabolotniy.
The club announced the official statement regarding his transfer on July 1. Artyom Dzyuba is actually a graduate of "Spartak".
The fans of the Moscow club had a relatively harsh attitude towards him for previously moving to "Zenit". Nevertheless, their attitude softened over time.
