The Portuguese club "Portu" officially announced its intention to terminate the contract with the team's head coach Martin Anselm. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the club's official statement, Anselm will not manage the team next season. The coach who will replace Anselm has already been revealed.
He is the former head coach of "Ajax," Francesco Faroli. Faroli became known in recent years for losing the lead in the final rounds of the Netherlands championship with "Ajax" and handing over titles to PSV.
Nevertheless, the "Portu" management sees him as a person capable of restoring the club after a difficult season. Interestingly, "Portu" president and former "Zenit" coach Andre Vilash-Boash attempted to call another Italian specialist, Roberto de Zerbi, but this did not materialize.
This was reported by A Bola. The "Portu" club is seriously preparing for the next season and aims to strengthen the team further under the new coach Faroli.
The club management and fans are hopeful for future successes, expecting good results under the new head coach.
