The Flamenko team has not yet received the money that Zenit club is supposed to pay for midfielder Jerson. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
It was previously reported that Zenit paid a compensation of 25 million euros for the Brazilian player, but this amount has not been transferred to Flamenko's account. Meanwhile, journalist Pablo Oliveira has announced on his social media that there is a full agreement between the clubs and that the transfer will take place soon.
Technically, this money should be received by the player himself, as he needs to buy his transfer from the club and move to Zenit as a free agent. Jerson participated in the Club World Championship with Flamenko and managed to score only one goal.
His team was eliminated in the 1/8 finals of the competition. Thus, the transfer process has not yet been fully completed, and the funds have still not reached their owner.
This situation indicates that there are financial issues despite the agreement between the teams and the player. The deal between Zenit and Flamenko is expected to be officially finalized soon.
