Forward Ivan Sergeyev will not take the field alongside Konstantin Tyukavin in the starting lineup if he transfers to the capital club "Dinamo". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This opinion was expressed by former midfielder Vladimir Bystrov, who explained why the "white-blue" team is trying to acquire this forward. According to Bystrov, as coach Karpin understands, until Tyukavin regains his form, someone needs to replace him in the attack line.
Therefore, Sergeyev and Tyukavin will not play at the same time. Someone will remain on the bench, and this will serve as healthy competition.
Bystrov spoke about this on the "O, Rodnoy Futbol!" YouTube show. It was previously reported that Sergeyev is planned to be purchased by "Dinamo" from "Krylya Sovetov" for 350 million rubles.
However, the deal is being delayed due to legal issues, as "Zenit" has a priority right to purchase the player. In St. Petersburg, the necessity for the player has not yet been resolved.
Many experts believe that "Zenit" wants to prevent Sergeyev's transfer in order to weaken its main competitor. This could be of significant importance in the championship race.
