The Kaliningrad "Baltika" team plans not only to fight for survival in the 2025/2026 RPL season but also to strive for a place in the top eight. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club's general director Ravil Izmaylov shared these plans. According to him, not only the management but also the coaching staff and players aim to compete equally or slightly stronger against their rivals, especially those in the lower half of the standings.
They also wish to delight fans with victories against the major teams in the RPL as much as possible. Last season, "Baltika" returned directly to the RPL as the winner of the First League after a one-year break from the top tier of Russian football.
During the season, the team changed its head coach, and currently, Andrey Talalayev is managing the team. At the same time, "Baltika" is pinning high hopes on its goals for the new season and aims to achieve high results through competitive matches.
According to their plans, the team wants to not only survive but also compete for high positions, bringing joy to the fans. This is being seen as the beginning of a new era in Russian football.
