Former “Krasnodar” striker Fyodor Smolov had a fight with two men inside a cafe in the capital. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The incident occurred on May 28, but the reason for it is still unknown. An insider source, Ivan Karpov, stated that the participants of the fight demanded money from the player to prevent the video recording from being spread online.
Smolov refused to pay, which is why the video of him hitting the other two cafe guests went viral. Interestingly, it was in the same cafe that Aleksandr Kokorin and Pavel Mamaev had their infamous brawl, which later led to their imprisonment.
Smolov was the Russian champion in the 2024/2025 season as part of the “Krasnodar” team. He left the team due to the expiration of his contract with the club.
Currently, there is no information on where the player will continue his career. This incident has caused a significant stir in the football world and highlighted the need to pay attention to the personal matters of players.
