The player himself has expressed that he is not opposed to returning to the club where he started his career. Gustavo Mantuan joined "Zenit" in 2023.
In the 2024-2025 season, he played 38 matches, scored 4 goals, and provided 7 assists. His current contract with "Zenit" lasts for another two years.
