A new and interesting experiment was conducted in China. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Scientists created a robot-antelope in the Tibetan mountainous region and placed it in the natural habitat of real antelopes. The main goal of this research was to study in detail the behavior of antelopes and their interactions in the natural environment.
Although the robot-antelope is artificial, its appearance and movements were designed to closely resemble real animals. Its movements adapted to the herd, and the real antelopes observed it attentively.
Interestingly, the antelopes showed no fear or stress towards the robot. This allowed scientists to accurately analyze the social behavior of the animals in natural conditions.
The study not only opened a new stage in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics but also serves to deepen the understanding of animals' ecological and social behavior. In the future, scientists plan to study the interactions of other animal species in their natural habitats using similar robots.
Thus, the robot-antelope not only tested new technological possibilities but also demonstrated an effective method of artificial integration with nature. This experiment is an important step towards the convergence of biology and robotics.
