China has achieved a significant breakthrough in technology — Dejia Energy has started mass production of its innovative solid-state batteries at a presentation in Kunshan, as reported by pepelac.news.
These batteries have advanced features such as full charge in 3 minutes, retaining 90% capacity even at -40°C, and high safety.
During the demonstration, the company cut the battery in half, and it did not catch fire — proving the high level of safety.
The new type of batteries is expected to be used in robotics, low-voltage economic systems, and unmanned vehicles.
