HMD Global is bringing the legendary Nokia Asha brand back to the market
The Nokia Asha series, renowned in the world of mobile technology for its durability and simplicity, is returning to the market in a new look. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

HMD Global is preparing to introduce the HMD Asha 305 model, one of the new devices being produced under its brand. This device aims to occupy the cheapest smartphone segment by combining a famous name from the past with modern technologies.

International technology publications are reporting this news. According to insiders, the new HMD Asha 305 is expected to attract many people's attention due to its extremely affordable price.

It is said that the price of this device in the Thailand market will be around 75 US dollars. This could make it an attractive choice not only for Southeast Asia but also for developing markets like Uzbekistan.

The smartphone is intended for users looking for a simple and reliable communication tool at a low price. The smartphone's appearance reflects modern trends.

While the design of the device's back panel features a camera block reminiscent of Apple's phones, its internal capabilities are quite modest. The HMD Asha 305 model is equipped with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 854 by 480 pixels.

The body dimensions are compact, and it is planned to be released in black and green colors. The technical part of the device is based on the Unisoc SC9832E processor.

Regarding memory, the manufacturer offers 3 gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of internal storage. A battery with a capacity of 2500 mAh has been chosen as the power source.

Android 14 Go edition is installed as the operating system, which serves to ensure the stable and fast operation of the smartphone even with low-power technical specifications. Regarding the camera, the manufacturer relied on simplicity.

Although space is provided for several sensors on the back panel, in practice, the smartphone is limited to a single 5-megapixel main camera. The front panel features a 2-megapixel selfie camera.

These specifications are considered sufficient for basic daily needs and video calls. Recently, HMD has been placing a strong emphasis on a strategy of restoring retro models and classic names.

The return of the Asha series is a unique novelty for the brand's loyal fans and can be purchased as a secondary communication device or as a first smartphone for children. At the same time, the company is currently working on other models with stronger technical specifications, but the Asha 305 model specifically is expected to spark great interest in the mass market due to its affordability.
