The new Tesla Roadster accelerates from 0 to 97 km/h in 0.81 seconds.

Tesla, led by Elon Musk, unveiled the new generation Roadster supercar at a presentation on October 15, 2026. One.uz reports this.
The car goes beyond the limits of traditional hypercars, capable of performing maneuvers such as short-term flight and rotation with the help of a compressed air system. The standard model reaches 0 to 97 km/h in 0.81 seconds, while the Rocket version reaches it in 0.59 seconds.
This generates cosmic loads ranging from 3.4 g to 4.6 g for the driver. The motor power is 1 megawatt, the battery capacity is 150 kWh, and it shows a range of 480 km on a single charge and a maximum speed of over 370 km/h.
All information is currently based on the developer's presentation and has not been confirmed in independent tests. The compressed air system and advanced dynamics
The main feature of the new Roadster is a compressed air system developed using aerospace technologies.
Air in high-pressure tanks is released as a powerful stream through special nozzles at the front, rear, and bottom of the car. This allows the car to lift off into the air in short moments, increase downforce during turns, and even rotate in the air.
Fans under the body significantly increase downforce, improving the grip of the wheels with the road. The Rocket version's 0.59-second acceleration generates a 4.6 g load for the driver, which requires special physical preparation.
Serial production and market challenges
The Roadster is scheduled to enter the assembly line in 2028. The main issue is the rising price starting from $250,000, and because of this, there is a risk that the car will become an expensive toy for only a few collectors.<
The Cybertruck experience showed that the final price can be much higher than expected. Therefore, this supercar cannot solve Tesla's serious competition problems in the mass market; instead, it is expected to serve as a marketing tool demonstrating the brand's technological prowess and connection to space projects.<
