A man assaulted a woman on the Moscow-Tashkent flight
On July 21, 2025, an unfortunate incident occurred during the "Moscow-Tashkent" flight. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
As the plane was about to land in Tashkent, a 40-year-old man, in an intoxicated state, made inappropriate gestures towards the woman sitting next to him. According to court documents, the man touched the woman's breasts, unbuttoned his pants, and exposed his genitals.
The woman asked him to stop such actions, but the man did not refrain from his behavior. During the trial, the man admitted his guilt.
He stated that he had drunk three glasses of beer before the flight and therefore could not control himself. He also expressed remorse for his actions and requested the court to impose a light penalty.
However, the court assessed the situation as serious and sentenced him to three days of administrative detention under part 1 of Article 41-1 of the Administrative Responsibility Code. This incident once again highlighted the importance of strictly adhering to behavioral rules in public transport, especially showing respect towards women.
Such incidents in the aviation sector not only violate personal rights but also negatively impact public safety. Therefore, it is essential for all passengers to adhere to mutual respect and etiquette rules.
