This figure has increased by 15,700 or 28.2 percent compared to the same period last year. In the first five months of this year, the main travel purposes of Uzbeks visiting the UAE were tourism, visiting relatives, business, medical treatment, and education.
The number of tourists was 63,042, while 7,397 people traveled to visit their relatives. Additionally, the number of business-related trips was 571.
For medical treatment and education purposes, 225 and 117 Uzbeks visited the UAE, respectively. This growth in the tourism sector will further strengthen trade, services, and cultural ties between the two countries.
This will create new opportunities and help develop tourism cooperation between the two states. As a result, the tourism market will expand and become a source of economic benefit.
This process is of significant importance in strengthening friendly relations between the countries.
