
The representatives of the Uzbekistan embassy organized a practical trip to the Mersin province of Turkey. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The main goal of this trip was to closely familiarize with the living and working conditions of Uzbek citizens temporarily working in the Mersin province, as well as to negotiate with potential employers. During the trip, information was provided during the communication with Uzbek citizens about the efforts being made to regulate external labor migration in our country, to organize safe and orderly labor migration, and to support compatriots working abroad and their family members.
It was emphasized that labor migrants must strictly adhere to Turkey's labor and migration laws. Additionally, Uzbek diplomats held a meeting with Go‘kxan Kartaymaz, a representative of IC İçtaş Nükleer company.
During the conversation, issues were discussed regarding increasing the volume of organizing employment for Uzbek citizens, the advantages of a coordinated recruitment system, and providing our citizens wishing to work in Turkey with qualification certificates from Uzbekistan. It was noted that currently more than 700 Uzbek citizens are employed by this company.
At the end of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to establish cooperation with this company for the organized employment of Uzbek citizens in the future
