It is planned to install smart water meters in every household in Tashkent city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The press service of "Tashkent City Water Supply" and the French company Suez provided this information. The main goal of the project is to effectively monitor water consumption in the city and automate the billing process.
By installing the devices, new meters will be installed in 670,000 households in Tashkent city over the next five years. The meters are developed by Deihl Metering, and their operational lifespan is guaranteed for five years.
These devices are equipped with automatic radio modules, allowing them to transmit information about water consumption and pressure remotely. This technology serves to enhance the efficiency of the water supply system and provides convenience for consumers.
As a result of the project's implementation, water consumption monitoring will become more accurate and reliable. Additionally, rational use of water resources will be ensured.
This will contribute to improving the quality of life for the city's residents
