
From July 30 to August 1, 2025, significant weather changes are expected in the regions of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The O‘zgidromet center issued an official warning regarding this. According to meteorologists, there is a high probability of heavy rain, especially in mountainous and foothill areas, which increases the risk of natural disasters.
Citizens are urged to be cautious, to act according to weather conditions, and to strictly adhere to safety rules. Due to the expected heavy rainfall, there may be flooding in some areas, landslides, and waterlogging.
This poses a serious risk not only to the local population but also to those who go on vacation and drivers using mountain roads. A special warning has been issued for the districts of Ohangaron, Bo‘stonliq, Parkent, Pskent, O‘rtachirchiq, Yuqorichirchiq in Tashkent region, as well as the cities of Angren and Olmaliq.
Additionally, the level of alert has been raised in the districts of Pop, Kosonsoy, Chortoq, Chust, Namangan, and Yangiqo‘rg‘on in Namangan region, in the districts of So‘x, Shohimardon, Farg‘ona, and Beshariq in Fergana region, and in the districts of Andijon, Asaka, Jalaquduq, Qo‘rg‘ontepa, Paxtaobod, Izboskan, Xo‘jaobod, Marhamat in Andijan region, as well as in the city of Xonobod. Relevant organizations are taking measures against floods and waterlogging.
At the same time, every citizen must be responsible for their own safety. Those planning to visit recreational areas, drivers on the road, and farmers should closely monitor the weather conditions and take necessary precautions.
Local authorities, the emergency services, and environmental control agencies are working together to carry out preventive measures. If necessary, evacuation measures will be taken, and the population will be promptly informed.
Especially, the accumulation of unregulated water on the roads may negatively affect transportation. Caution is required due to the risk of flooding in rural areas.
