In the hot days of summer, the practice of tinting windows to reduce the temperature inside the car and protect against sunlight has become an important issue for drivers. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
There are reports that a new preferential system may be introduced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to this proposal, it is planned to significantly reduce the price of permits for tinting windows for vehicles belonging to the M1 category, that is, passenger transport vehicles, during the summer season, specifically from May 1 to August 31.
Currently, individuals and legal entities are required to pay 412,000 soums for window tinting. Based on the new proposal, this amount may be reduced to a single value of approximately 340,000 soums.
For foreign legal entities, the existing rate of 2,060,000 soums is planned to be reduced to around 1,700,000 soums, which is five times lower. The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that such concessions would not only create convenience for drivers but also serve to legally and officially expand the window tinting activity.
At the same time, these changes are expected to have a positive impact on improving transport safety and comfort. These changes are currently in the discussion phase, and the proposal has been published on the portal for public opinion regarding normative-legal documents.
A final decision will be made based on the proposals and comments within the specified timeframe (source: zamin.uz)
